What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our top priority. A beginner paddler will find it challenging to paddle in consistent winds 13 mph or more. Depending on the experience, the strength of the paddler, type of paddleboard, and direction of the wind, we are open. Bluet Sup closes when the winds are a consistent 15mph or higher. It is discouraged to paddleboard/Kayak in these conditions as winds can be dangerous.
If we have to cancel due to wind, lightning, or other weather concerns, we’ll work with you to reschedule. Please check the weather conditions before you head out!
Do I need experience to paddleboard with Bluet SUP?
Not at all! We welcome all skill levels — from first-timers to seasoned paddlers.* We offer instruction on weekends or private lessons to help you feel confident and safe on the water.
*You must have basic swim skills to be able to paddleboard. Do not paddle in winds above 10 mph. Please CHECK THE WEATHER before going to rent.

We recommend wearing comfortable swimwear or a swim-friendly outfit and bringing sunscreen, a towel, water bottle, and a snack. We provide all equipment. Remember: Phones, watches, prescription glasses, sunglasses, and jewelry do not float. Keep them safe!
Is there an age or weight limit?
