February 14 / Day 1: Arrival and Stay in San Jose (Palma Real Hotel)
After flying into San Jose, you’ll be met at the airport by your guide. You’ll then be transported to one of our base hotels, in San Jose. Spend the rest of the day settling in, relaxing, or getting to know your fellow adventurers.

*All meals included throughout the trip, including a welcome dinner on the first night

February 15 / Day 2: Travel To Turrialba Valley SUP Experience (Casa Turire Hotel)
After a delicious breakfast we are going to start the drive to Turrialba valley and at Angostura lake where our guides and gear are going to be waiting for us for some SUP. So be ready to relax and enjoy the time. Then we are going to visit Aquiares Coffee Farm, where you are going to learn and experience about Coffee procedures and of course taste it. (Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

February 16 / Day 3: Rafting Pacuare River (Pacuare Outdoor Center)*
Today, we will head to the Pacuare River where we will raft into our Pacuare Outdoor Center which was built using all local labor and materials from the land. National Geographic sites the Pacuare as one of the five most scenic rivers on the planet.

*POC Lodge amenities include showers, bathrooms, fully enclosed bungalows, and great views of the river and surrounding jungle.

February 17 / Day 4: Zipline, Tarzan Swing & Nature Hike (Pacuare Outdoor Center)
Today you will be experiencing our infamous Tarzan Swing and Zipline course! The swing will have you swinging hundreds of feet over the river while staying attached in a harness of course. We have a lower platform for those looking for a less adventurous swing. We’ll also be riding on our zipline, so we are going to experience the Pacuare River from another level.

Then we are going to hike to a beautiful waterfall where we are going to have the chance to slide in and have some fun! This is about a one-hour hike and will have its vertical challenges hiking down into the canyon. During the night we are going to relax around a bonfire. (Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner)

February 18 / Day 5: Whitewater Rafting thru Pacuare Canyon and Travel to Caribbean Coast (Shawanda Hotel)
Today we will be rafting the world-famous Pacuare Canyon. We save the best for last, and the scenery here is like no place else in Costa Rica. The canyon walls rise 300ft up in straight rock and 200ft waterfalls fall into the river as we float down a completely virgin tropical rainforest from start to finish. Then we are going to start our drive to the south Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica, where the jungle meets the sea! This is such a unique area of Costa Rica still very much rich in culture and no high rises like you might find on the pacific. (Meals: Breakfast & Lunch)

February 19 / Day 6— SUP surf, Nature Hike & Free Day to enjoy the beach! (Shawanda Hotel)
Today we are going to have so free time for nature hike, enjoy the beach and do some SUP at the calm waters in the Caribbean Sea. So be ready to have a blast. (Meals: Breakfast)

February 20 / Day 7— SUP surf & Free Day to enjoy the beach! (Studio Hotel)
After a free morning it’s going to be time to say goodbye to the coast and start the drive back to the city to spend the night close to the airport. (Meals: Breakfast & Dinner)

February 21 / Day 8— Fly Home!
Is time to start the fly back home with a luggage full of Pura Vida and we are going to miss you! (Meals: Breakfast) (airfare is not included with this deal).
